ALGORA1, LLC ("ALGORA1," "we," "us," or "our") operates the ALGORA1 Terminal, a subscription-based web application that provides real-time market data, charting, and proprietary informational market studies for U.S. equities (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
We collect only the information necessary to operate the Service, manage your account and subscription, and provide the features you enable. We do not sell personal data. The Service is an informational market-data product: it does not open brokerage accounts, route orders, hold funds, or collect brokerage credentials, and we therefore do not collect KYC information, Social Security numbers, or bank account details.
1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Account Information. When you register, we collect your username and/or email address, an encrypted password (stored as a salted hash), and the subscription and customer identifiers required to verify and manage your access.
Subscription & Billing Information. Subscriptions are processed by our third-party payment processor. Your payment card details are collected and stored by that processor, not by ALGORA1. We receive limited billing information such as your subscription status, customer identifier, and the email associated with checkout.
Optional Discord Information. If you choose to link a Discord account to receive alerts, we collect your Discord user identifier and display name so that our bot can deliver messages to you. You may unlink at any time.
Usage Data. We collect information about how you use the Service, such as your saved watchlist, the symbols and studies you view, and feature interactions, for operation, debugging, and performance monitoring.
Technical Data. We may collect your IP address, device and browser type, and connection metadata for security, fraud prevention, and service reliability.
We do NOT collect brokerage logins, API keys, Social Security numbers, tax identifiers, dates of birth, or bank account information, because the Service does not provide brokerage, custody, or account-opening functions.
2. HOW WE USE INFORMATION
We use collected information to: operate, maintain, and secure the Service and your account; authenticate you and manage your subscription and access; provide the features you enable, including optional Discord alerts; provide support and monitor for fraud and abuse; improve the Service through aggregated, de-identified analytics; and comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations.
3. INFORMATION SHARING
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal data. We share information only with: our payment processor, to manage billing and subscriptions; Discord, only if you link an account and only as needed to deliver your alerts; infrastructure and hosting providers, who process data on our behalf under contract to run the Service; and legal or regulatory authorities, when required by law or to protect our rights, our users, or the public.
4. DATA STORAGE AND SECURITY
Data is stored on secured cloud infrastructure with industry-standard safeguards, including encryption in transit (TLS), hashed storage of passwords, restricted access controls, and hardened, HttpOnly session cookies. No system is fully secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. DATA RETENTION
We retain your information for as long as your account remains active and as needed for legal, regulatory, operational, and dispute-resolution purposes. When you delete your account, we remove eligible personal data within a reasonable timeframe, subject to any retention obligations. We may retain aggregated or de-identified data.
6. YOUR RIGHTS
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may access the personal data we hold about you, request corrections, request deletion (subject to legal retention requirements), export your account data, and opt out of non-essential communications. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@algora1.com.
7. COOKIES AND TRACKING
We use essential session cookies required for authentication and core functionality. We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.
8. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
The Service relies on third-party providers, including our market-data provider(s), payment processor, hosting provider, and (optionally) Discord. Each operates under its own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their data practices, accuracy, or availability.
9. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
The Service is not intended for individuals under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.
10. CALIFORNIA PRIVACY RIGHTS (CCPA/CPRA)
California residents may request access to, deletion of, or disclosure about the personal information we collect. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law.
11. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted with a revised effective date, and material changes may be communicated by email or in-Service notice.
